Stupid Ring Tone Advert

Has anyone heard that annoying ring tone advert with the singing frog...ugh it just gets on my nerves.

yea i sucks the big one! I dont get it..... but then again i never really saw the point of the whole ring tone thingy. too gimicky. same with camera phones.

That frog is a horrible sounding thing. But the other "novelty" rings are worse I heard of a ring tone that is a car motor revving! Who in there right mind would want that.

The camera phones are handy providing you arewilling to pay for a good one that is.

Well considering that most polyphonic tones are midi files which you can download for free off the interweb and slap them on your phone for free I really don't see why you would pay for them

This thing wouldnt normally piss me off but they robbed this from the net. The original was a flash file with a pic of a ferrari and ur man doing the "brrrmmm-brmmm" stuff over it. Has to be copyright infringement. Robbing bastards!

Ever think about how many ringtones you would have to use in one month to break even on the 6 euros!? You would have to be changing ring tones like every two days or something. (Cant remember, figured it out one evening recently)

I find some midi tones hard to get, for example The strokes. But then again i got ripped off with a stupid data cable for a stupid phone.(3200)

How do you know they didn't licence or buy it off the original owner? Ringtone companies got in the height of trouble when it all started for using unlicenced material, it's quite likely they've copped on a bit now.

There are 3 things that REALLY piss me off about those ads
1)They play them 3 times usually for every ad break
2)She says Yo-Yos
3)The frog thing is a TOTAL rip off of this.(try it, its impossible)

If you think the sound of the frog is annoying you should hear the German version. We get the DSF channel in work and its a million times worse.

Would I be considered less insane? I didn't start laughing but my face started twitching with intense fury towards the last 20 seconds. In all seriousness, I dread to think what I may do to someone with that ring tone if they did not answer their phone fast enough.

If you look you by for a month. And you get all these tones/pictures etc. My guess is that they hope people will either be too lazy to unsubscribe or forget to. There you have a lot of cash. They also pay royalties to the record companies so there is also the small chance that they help out with the advertising costs.

NokiaSuite sucks with a cable on 3200. Try getting yourself an infra red USB connector (same price as cable).
As for finding the Strokes midi-files, this site has a few for free:

You don't even need a cable or connector, just d/l it using the WAP on your phone. It'lll explain how on the site...

Keep your yo-yos in your pockets, and hopefully this crap will vanish from our ad breaks...

those ads absolutly wreck my head. who cares how many ringtones you can get for 6 yo yo's?? the people who work in adveritising in that company should be SHOT. or maybe torn apart piece by piece.

those ads are on every single ad break, and not just once, about 10 times. anyone who supports these companies by buying these rip off ring tones deserves a kick!

Music Television, yeah right, the only music thats played on it is at like 2:30 in the morning, apart from that you have the mini clips on MTV TRL which is brutal.
However, I've heard that Jamster(one of those ringtone companys) is meant to be getting closed cause they're a scam apparently...could just be a rumour though.
