x800xt availabilty

hi,

i was wondering could anyone tell me when x800xt pe is going to be available? i am thinking of going for this one http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=301009&view=detailed , i know it says an expected release but is this the 3rd of jan or 1st of march(stupid question i know) also what does everyone think of this card is it worth the money? anyone out there have one?

why not wait on the x850xt, due out in january.

ATI claims that X850 XT Platinum edition will end up twenty per cent faster than Geforce 6800 Ultra in 3Dmark05, almost forty per cent faster in Far Cry and around 55 per cent faster in Unreal Tournament 2004. Those numbers come from ATI.

but if i wait til the x850 surely the price of the x800 will go down a bit and i d say the x850 will be pushing the wrong side of €600 which is sort of out my price range

overclockers may have them in stock. I got mine on Friday from them.

was looking at them but they seem to be a good bit dearer than komplett at least 50/60 quid which could spent on another xmas present, wot do you think of ocuk pe one, not a brand i've heard of anyone know if they are any good.

Yeah it is a bit dearer but I was looking around and could not find any other site that have them in stock cheaper. I'm not sure how good the ocuk PE one is. They probably took from one of the macnufacturer and rebranded it I think. Problem is dont know which one.

I had an order in komplett for a x800 xt pe for at least 4 months, that date that they show is kinda misleading, it will get to a week before hand and then be pushed back another month.

If your dead set on getting one, then go through someone else that has them in stock, even if it is a little bit dearer.

overclockers is very good but i had to pay like 30euros for shipping which is a lot
u can also try dabs.co.uk the shipping has dropped a LOT, and i'dd say its as good as komplett

Whooooo the 850 looks oustanding.Surely nVidia have a response coming.
Will drive the 6800's and the x800 way down def waiting til jan to buy.
SLi is getting some very 50/50 reviews at the mo so id say they straighten them out or new cards?Anyone heard anymore?
