    Tadhg Cooke www.tadhgcooke.com has just finished a new album and has a number of dates planned around the country, including a support slot for Bell x1 in the Olympia on December 16th.

    This Monday (29th November) at 10pm, WHiTE NOiSE, NEARfm's weekly look at the independent Irish music scene, presents Tadhg Cooke with his band. (A band which remains nameless. Los Banditos might do the trick. yeess, los banditos might indeed do many tricks...)

    or you can tune the crackly wireless to 101.6fm (but you only have this pleasure if you live in North Dublin.)

    Either way, no excuses. I've plenty to ask him about: his 12 month hiatus which saw him going AWOL in the EU; waxing, sealing; black CDs and an even blacker message board; shirts, lack of shirts; sandwiches - buxom and/or other; the new album; gigs in several provinces; olympia nerves; lack of nerves and what this might signify.......all this and maybe more.
