I'm going to order an iriver in the next few days but don't know which one to go for. I was thinking of either the ihp140 or the ihp320.
The price of the ihp140 works out at STG237.50 on www.mx2.co.uk delivered to ireland. I ordered of them recently and had no hassle. Ordered on a monday and received it on a friday. the ihp 320 works out at STG268.99 delivered to ireland. On www.3dsolutions.co.uk it works out at STG227.95 but can't find any info about delivery to ireland. Does anyone know much about this company?

Which one would you recomend and what the pros and cons of each?

I've used both the 1xx and the 3xx series extensively, and i can tell you that its the smart move to shell out the extra cash for it. I bought one myself there last week and i couldn't be happier. There's a host of features that really put it out of reach of the iPod, such as

    USB charging
player to player transfer capability, so you don't need a computer
video playback(they don't advertise this, but if you download the new firmware, you can play .avi and .mpeg)
    picture viewing

thats a couple of the better features. Trust me, the 3 series is the right choice. plus the 1xx series has just been discontinued.

There's also the H-340 which I'd recommend as I don't think it's that much more expensive than the H-320 but you get twice the storage space.

Well I emailed them earlier and they said delivery was STG15 and usually takes 2 days.
I think I will be going for the ihp320 as the 40GB is about €100 more expensive.

I rang 3dsolutions today to order it and found out that the price had went up by STG60. Couldn't believe it. How can they justify that? I ordered of mx2 instead.

Mightn't be any use to you now, but I ordered a H320 from the US for 338 dollars including postage from www.bhphotovideo.com, worked out at €265 at the time, but now the dollar is in a heap, it works out as €250.

The only thing is the US version doesn't come with some of the kit you get over here, like a mic and a battery pack, but they're worth feck all, and if you stick a software upgrade on it, it'll play video and do all the stuff the International version does. The H340 is also available for €322, same story. They shipped to me from New York in 5 days.

Ya have to get a little travel adapter for the charger, but that only set me back a fiver. If ya feel like only paying half the €500 they're charging in Harvey Normans, this is the way to go.

Ordered it last tuesay chiefo!! from mx2. I havn't received it yet. I see on www.advancedmp3players.co.uk that they have a h320 STG259 lite and a h320 STG279. The difference being that:
"The H320 Lite does not include the iRiver Docking Station, External Battery Pack or Remote Control that is featured with the full version of the iRiver H320."
I didn't know there was a difference last week when I ordered but noticed it since. Does anyone know which one mx2 sell?
