Hope somone can help me. my broadband is with prepayed power but I also have sky tv now my problem is for the last few months when I turn on my tv I get a message that I dont have internet. I have but I have to then go to settings and select my internet by prepay power and put in password again. it seems to be trying to connect me to sky broadband (which I had before) is there anyway that I can delete my sky broadband option without interfering with my sky tv package.

Are you getting Sky from a dish or over broadband?

Is it a Sky Glass TV?

This sounds like a TV problem not an internet problem. Is everything else that uses the internet in your house working OK?

First thing to do - power down the TV completely (unplug the power) for 30 seconds then power it on again

If still problems - delete all saved wireless networks in the TV settings and search for your home wifi network and add it.

If that doesn't work you can reset the Sky Q box using the following steps

    • Press the Home button on your Sky Q remote
    • Scroll down to Settings, but do not press select.
    • With Settings highlighted, press 0 0 1 Select on your remote to open the hidden menu.
    • Select Reset Settings or Factory Reset and confirm
    • Note: doing the above will require you to re-pair your Bluetooth remote by holding down buttons 1 and 3 together while pointing it at the box

Sky Q is over satellite, not broadband.

Did it happen after changing internet provider or just after when you got sky?

I had similar issues before and it was down to the strength of the WiFi signal, I added a booster and it's been working fine since, sky may even come out and add one for free if you're lucky.
