I have a car that turns 30 years old next month. I bought it over a year ago and was willing to pay the VRT, however, they wanted twice the car's value. I didn't pay it. I put the car in storage and decided to wait. Can I now pay vintage VRT or will they try to screw me again because the car was presented to them by me over a year ago?
