Digital timer plug...... programming

Hi. Could anyone advise how to activate the timer programme on the attached Mastclear brand timer. Time clock is set ok, programme option is on 7 days option ok, timer on is set for 16:00, timer off is set for 23:00. Testing on a kettle, it's powering the kettle on before normal time.

Without original instruction might not be simple.
Mine has 20 presets for every day(ON/OFF), then there are setting ON(permanent) / Auto ON/ Auto OFF/ OFF(permanent)

Then there is TIMER that can be manually activated at desired time with function either ON or OFF, as well this can be deactivated any time by one button and device return to preset sequence

Then there is RANDOM (RND on display) - in my instance,if activated, it ignore preset times between 18:00 and 06:00 and does 10-31min random ON/OFF

ON/AUTO/OFF/ button (ON→AUTO→OFF→AUTO) :

AUTO is when in timer mode.. ON is permanently on. OFF is permanently off.

Make sure you go from OFF to AUTO rather than ON to AUTO and the power should remain off until the set time to come on.

if you go from ON to AUTO, the power remains on until the times the timer takes over
