Hi all,
Just wondering what lads experiences are when trying to get a Section 42 for a landowner in their 80's when the land is not registered just a 'title of deeds' that they cannot find the number of.
Has this happened to anyone before and how do I go about getting it sorted without too much stress for the pensioner or getting solicitors involved to look for the deeds?

Try this online first. https://www.landregistryonline.ie. A bit pricey,but it would be worth doing for your elderly landowner anyway so he has some paperwork to back up his ownership.
