Trying add an adult learner driver to our car. When I ring my insurer or login to my account I get a quote that like 600+ for a partial year. When I do it not logged in same deal I get a quote 400+ cheaper. No matter what I do they won't give me that cheaper quote on my existing policy. So I created a new policy online and…

Trying add an adult learner driver to our car. When I ring my insurer or login to my account I get a quote that like 600+ for a partial year. When I do it not logged in same deal I get a quote 400+ cheaper. No matter what I do they won't give me that cheaper quote on my existing policy.
So I created a new policy online and it accepted that with the cheaper quote. Plan is just to cancel my old policy. Any downsides here. The no claims is honoured.
