Bord gais smart meter issue

    Hi folks

    I joined bord gais in November 2024

    Every last day of month my smart meter for electricity spikes from 2 euro for the day to 6 euro

    Most days at the end of month I am not even in the house

    I contacted bord gais many times about this

    Today they said it was the pso added in on the last day of the month

    I don't believe this

    Anyone got this issue

    Does the app or whatever report the Kwh? If the Kwh is spiking then it has nothing to do with other charges.

    If you are a very-low usage consumer, e.g. a holiday home, there are extra charges.

    It does look like it's the PSO levy that was reintroduced this time last year.

    Yes same for me, I can see a few euro added on to my usage on the last day of every month, seems to be the pso levy alright
