I am looking for some advice,

My PC is at the moment up stairs connected via cat six cable and on a speed test Shows 501.6 mbps down load and 38.8 mbps upload

I have a shed at the end of my garden. I want to put a computer in it with internet access. It is about 30 meters from the modem

I have run a Cat six cable from the modem in my house.to the shed my question is what device should I fit at the shed end?

I would like to be able attach a PC and other devices and if possible to extend the WI –FI to the shed and garden

I asking for advice on what device should I attach at the shed end? I was looking at

SODOLA 8 Port Gigabit Switch, 8x 2.5G Network Switch, Unmanaged Ethernet Switch from Amazon

Have a look at lightning protection for outdoor CAT cables. My understanding is that you need some protection, or you'll see weird behaviour and possibly damaged equipment.

It made me use wireless system instead.

assuming you’re max ISP speed is 1gbps, you don’t need a 2.5gbps switch. I have a couple of 1gbps tp link switches that are cheap and do the job
