Working Two Part-Time Teaching Contracts?

Hi, I’m a post-primary qualified music teacher and have been offered two different part-time contracts as a music teacher in two different special education schools in Dublin. One contract is for 12 hours per week, and the other is for 13 hours.

Both schools seem flexible and happy for me to take on both contracts, but are unsure about the legalities. As a post-primary teacher, the maximum teaching hours is 22 hours per week, so I don't think I can take both contracts.

I’d really appreciate any information on this, as I need to give both schools an answer by tomorrow.

    Thanks in advance!
