Cataract

    Hello all

    I was recently diagnosed with significant cataracts

    I attended Optilux eye clinic in Hermitage lucan and was seen by Mr Lee

    He said left eye needs surgery but right eye not need at this time

    He has recommended fixing left eye for close vision removing cataract and insert new lens my right eye still has good distance vision

    He does not recommend the multi focus lenses

    This is called mono vision and he told me it will reduce my need for reading glasses but not totally eliminate them

    Has anyone here used Optilux and Mr Lee if so are you happy

    Also how do people find the Monovision

    Bit concerned as it's my eyes but the cataract has to be dealt with
