Dev Doc with David McCullough

I want to congratulate David McCullough on his three part Dev documentary. I turned the Dev doc off after episode one, after certain facts were espoused, not because they were necessarily wrong, but because I would dispute them, as would people with similar political viewpoints to my own.

He spoke recently about people with agendas behind the scenes out to get him - (was it on a Miriam doc recently???). I certainly am not and will not, be out to get him on here, even though I contribute from an anonymous account with an anonymous identity, and would hate to see any of the RTE presenters get the axe because of what is said on a low level chat site used for small talk and venting on personal issues.

People post on here for a myriad of reasons and, some would hate to see their words hurt people. If RTE was run in an efficient manner in the first place the scandal mightn't have happened.

This will be mocked by other more predatory mindsets on here, and there are many, but we are people from different viewpoints, living in the same country, and have to get on and live together. You can be on the right, and use the merits of your argument to argue your case, and not be predatory or seek to destroy people of different viewpoints although there are some that do want that in this country.

He is an honest man and making the doc put his background and beliefs on the table for the public to see - for that I have to commend him and say he is candid, likeable and an honest man. I wish him well as I do all the presenters and hope the voluntary redundancies stop at RTE.

Fu-ck sake. I had a big post wrote and fecking Boards jumped back on my ffs. Anyway as I was saying you must like a bit of torture and really hate yourself to watch that. No way I could. I can't stand the man.

I totally disagree with all them points. I think he is anything but honest. I think he is a greedy, unlikeable, horrible person but that is just my opinion.
