Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a decent laptop to run DJ software like rekordbox or serato and that links to a DJ controller. Windows based, budget 500€. I don't mind b-stock. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Lenovo do good deals all the time - https://www.lenovo.com/ie/en/p/laptops/ideapad/ideapad-500-series/lenovo-ideapad-slim-5-gen-10-15-inch-amd/83j3cto1wwie2

CPU threads are your concern here. RAM usage is not major concern. Storage more than RAM so I'd be looking to change the SSD from 512GB to 1TB.

You can save money by dropping the OS and installing your own later. Very simple process. Just need USB stick and another computer to create the media on the USB stick. Microsoft provide the rest for you. You don't even need a key to get it up and running and can buy that key at any time in the future on the grey market. Perfectly legal as per the ECJ.

With that money saved, I'd get a 1TB drive, better battery and backlit keyboard. All of those are major quality of life improvements that'll you regret not getting.
