    Question

I work for a well know public sector party and has the last many years Carring my service to.my new job. At it for over two years however im dyselxic and I told the boss this and he sent me to occ health who made a bunch on recommendation including retraining which he denied assisted technology totally ignored this. Call me and now is moving further away from.my family. I worked in Dublin for over 20 years and moved and was living in co kildare and I got my move to be closer to be home for my family. However the boss is not sending me further away under redeployment cause I belive he wants noting to do with me. He say the occ report says I can't do the job it doesn't it says I need a little help and time I quizzed him on assist technology which he blew right off saying noting compatible with our systems. I don't want to go.it going to cost me more in fuel and time getting to this new place they want to send me. Anyone have a year experience with this. What was the outcome

I'm not sure, are you moving to the new place because you asked to be moved, or did they move you regardless?

You're a teacher? That post makes absolutely no sense

If it's about redeployment talk to your union.

Just for any teachers scanning through this thread the redeployment ‘scheme’ as it exists has close to zero chance of ever actually redeploying you .For starters it only serves 5 or 6 counties a year .Even if your county comes around you have a tiny chance of a swap

What if you're a teacher of X and Y in an area that won't be able to keep running X and Y? I was facing into this and would have been re-skilling far too soon after the previous time.
