    Hi,

I'm WFH, have a 160cm wide desk. Currently I listen to music or radio on my headphones, would prefer to have speakers at each corner of my desk or corner of the room. I work from my garden office so can't rely on house wi-fi, can either bluetooth from my laptop or phone or cables to my laptop.

Budget about €300 max, willing to go slightly higher if something jumps out.

    Thanks in advance,
    Pa

    Hi Dinneenp.

    Many thanks for the post.

A nice pair of Active speakers would fit the job.

The Argon Audio Fenris A4 priced at €329

Or even the Audio Technics AT-SP3x coming in at €194

    Let me know your thoughts.

Hey Kenny - what is the Bluetooth delay like on these? My current set of Logitech speakers, while sounding ok, have an annoying audio delay when viewing Video. I'm curious if moving to a more modern setup will cure this particular First World problem for me.

    Hi Nate.

To be honest I've not heard of any audio delay with either of those speakers.
You should be able to correct the lag via your source to bring the vocals back in line with the image.
What is your source that is connecting to the speakers?

It's a PC. I can correct for the lag in the Vids played via VLC or MPC-HD video players, but I've not found a method to do it for any Video played in the Browser (Youtube, Netflix etc.)

FWIW, I've Bluetooth headphones that have no discernible delay on the same PC, I suspect Logitech being cheap on their BT implementation.

Anyway, I was just curious if you knew offhand, it's something I'll research myself if I get around to an upgrade.

    Hey Nate.

Yeah, I think you would just have to adjust it through each service or player that you use.
    Its not ideal.

It is possible that it is down to Logitech's quality as you say if there is no delay on the same content via BT headphones.
