Do all phones increase in temperature now, when using them as a hotspot? (my old one didn't)

    I have a Huawei P Smart 2019 and it never gets hot.

    I run hotspots constantly.

    I expect its temperature to rise when using it to generate WIFI for my laptop?

    I was looking at the Google Pixel 9a, as it seems most highly ranked on the market for the cost, and temps run lower than with comparable phones apparently.

    Does anyone run a hotspot for extended time periods and experience issues with their phones temperature?
