Forgot to take a pic but Lidl have a large display of packets of Spring bulbs inside the door of every shop at the minute, Alliums etc I think, cant remember the rest but there are about 20 different ones: https://www.lidl.ie/p/spring-flowering-bulbs/p1018884

Im wondering if I buy a load of different kinds and plant them in my beds now will they come back year after year like daffodils or will it just be a once and done kind of thing which I wouldn't be bothered about? Also not bothered with bulbs I have to dig up and babysit every year, Im just looking for ones that behave in a zero maintenance way like daffodils basically but Im not a fan of daffodils.

Some will, some won't. Alliums generally will though they don't seem to last indefinitely. You'd get a few years out of them. Tulips are not worth bothering with as a long term proposition. Muscari will, they will also take over the garden. Hyacinths are good. The lidl crocuses will come back but they don't last long, the weather usually gets them, the species ones are better for lasting. Daffodils are lovely, but their leaves hang on looking scruffy for ages. The smaller narcissus are easier in that respect.
