I live in an apartment and sometime over the summer we had a smartmeter installed. Since then my electric radiators have pinged every night at 11pm. Ive only just realised that this sound was them powering on. Before the meter change they had electricity 24/7, now its just overnight. Originally they would have been storage heaters, but are now just regular electric. My assumption is that i have a day circuit and a night circuit, where the night circuit only works after 11pm. What i need to know is basically, how do i fix this? Is it something i need to get an electrician to do in my apartment, or do the ESB need to do something with my meter?

you’ll need a rec to come out and sort it for you

A few of the cables will have to be taken from the contactor and permanently fed.
