Temporary Offgrid Solar Solution advice

    Hi,

I have just purchased a site which has no power onsite. It'll be a while before we finish construction work and get a mains connection. In the meantime I would like to figure out if a temporary solar powered/battery solution would work for me and be affordable.

    • It will be used to power a small Mobile wi-fi hotspot to access solar powered CCTV online. (Tp Link M7350 V9) and some LED lighting in outbuildings which will get light usage as the buildings are used for storage mostly.
    • All power tools on site are battery operated and charged offsite. A generator will be used if there are any large power requirements on site.
    • I have plenty of space on site and can mount solar panels temporarily at ground level or roof level.

This is a temporary solution so I am looking for a low cost solution that has minimal setup/cabling requirements. I appreciate it if you could recommend something that would work for this situation.

    Thanks in advance.
