Pension fees comparison calculator

    Hi,

Is there a online calculator that will tell you which pension is better factoring in the different fee structures and fund performance?

For example, Irish life charge 2% contribution charge and have an AMC of 0.65% and the fund is up 8% YOY

Zurich have no contribution fee but an AMC of 1.4% and the fund is up 10% YOY.

If I'm making monthly contributions of €1k plus an AVC of €2k every now and then, which fund is the better option?

(Example fees and contributions are made up)

    Thanks

You could run your analysis in a spreadsheet.

It looks like Royal London offer good value.

Possible to get 0% contribution charge and 0.65% AMC, I think.

In making a decision on competing pension products charges will vary from provider to provider but there's a lot of other equally important considerations.

Talk to an independent Broker. They will do the legwork and provide best advise. They'll also identify and disclose any fee or commission payable.

    2 things to always remember:-

1/. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

2/. The bitterness of low quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
