    I stumbled upon this Wikipedia page while searching for alternatives to mainstream platforms, and it turned out to be far more helpful than I expected. The list is well-organized, broken down into categories which made it easy to browse by interest.

    What stood out was that each entry typically includes a short description and a direct link, so you can quickly figure out what each site offers. It felt like a mix between a curated web directory and an educational resource. A few links were outdated, but most were still working and relevant.
