€99K single motor in a plus (base model) spec now available. Similar pricing to the XC90 PHEV. They might have a chance of getting a few more 261’s sold at that price point. Still a big premium over a similar KIA or Hyundai though.

seems to be quite a bit if this going on, with EVs being cut to at least the phev version price within the marque. They will definitely sell a fair few more at that price, once people don’t mind the robot taxi like forehead bump. It seems fair bit of a step up in comfort and quality compared to Kia or Hyundai too

BYD Seal facelift is supposed to be getting that taxi lump too. I think it contains the lidar stuff.

So much tech going on in that car. I'd hate to own it outside of warranty as I'd say any repair cost would be mental money. Not as if you could bring it to Fred in his shed either.

    what is the warranty length?

I think early buyers of the EX90 got a very raw deal. They are even going to replace hardware for them apparently with this refresh/ relaunch.

100k for a single motor in what should be an AWD car is still ridiculous money. I love the look of it and the tech etc (and I like volvo in general) but that's mad money.

Colleague got the ICE version of this, was told in the car park how could I afford a Tesla, told them you could buy three of mine for the one Volvo, they were stunned, folk still think Teslas cost a fortune and more than a €100k+ Volvo.

Crazy money, if you can throw €100k away then off you go

completely agree. Great looking car but too dear still.
I do hate the lack of rear window opening buttons they have adapted similar to VW though.

These should be a popular UK/N.I import when they’re a few years old but even the €99K version is a big stretch for what it is. An EV9 is obviously better value on paper but won’t appeal to the image conscious.

Is the 99k version the same one as the 117k or have they stripped it back at all?

Looks like it’s 2WD & less spec. It’s a “Plus” model, launch version was an “Ultra” at €120K ish.
