We've had strange activity going on in my rural area lately and this car maybe connected.

    Can anybody identify it?

I like cars and apparently I should know.

    A but stuck tbh.

USing Google Images (not sure how accurate it is)

The car in the image appears to be a Honda Fit (also known as the Honda Jazz in some markets), likely a first or second-generation model. Explanation:

    • Compact Hatchback Design: The vehicle exhibits the characteristic compact hatchback profile of the Honda Fit/Jazz, known for its short wheelbase and tall roofline, maximizing interior space.
    • Distinctive Taillights: The shape and placement of the taillights, particularly the vertical orientation and integration into the rear pillar, are consistent with early generations of the Honda Fit/Jazz.
    • Headlight Shape: While less clear due to the glare, the overall shape of the headlights also aligns with the design language of these models

Looks more a Ford C-max to me. Don't think it's a Honda Jazz, it looks bigger

My original thought was a Ford C-Max but I wasn't sure.

The Fitt makes sense due to them commonly being stolen.

Thought the same but rear quarter window is the wrong shape. Thought maybe B class Merc too but the crease on the doors is wrong.

My initial glance reaction was Ford Galaxy/C-Max but looking at it closer I'll go with C-Max.

OP, advise whoever gave you that CCTV to upgrade from the Nokia 3310 it looks like they're currently using, unclear CCTV ain't worth a 💩.

Modern HD cameras are fairly cheap these days, you'd then have no need for guesswork and probably even have a reg #, though probably running on cloned plates anyway if upto no good.

The below is a general 'signature' and not part of any post:

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Public transport user? If you're sick of phantom ghost services on the 'official' RTI sources, check bustimes.org for actual 'real' RTI, if it's on their map it actually exists.

Look at the photo and you'll see a design from front to rear wheel along the sill low down, matches the cmax photo i put up

Looks like a second generation C-Max to me too.

Alot of these type of cars get used in burglaries as they are practical for carrying stuff as well as being inconspicuous on the road.

Jesus. Even the burglarers are driving bland cars now.

You can get quite a lot of other people's sh1t into a C-Max.
