Renting a property that is mortgaged as PPR

What are the risks involved in renting out a property that has a principal private residence mortgage on it without informing the lender?

For example, if you bought a house 5 years ago, lived in it for 2 years and then rented it out and now would like to sell it as tenants leaving.

    A) in reality will the lender care that you were renting it out?

    B) are they likely to look for back payment of interest at a higher BTL rate?

    C) is it work seeking a mortgage payment moratorium for 3 months to allow sale process to play out (property is vacant) or is this likely to just invite problems?

    thanks in advance

I have been working to the assumption of A for 6 years now with no issues.
I wouldn’t under any circumstances do C unless I was desperate.
