Hi everyone, I have a apartment viewing in the coming days in Newbridge. Can someone please tell me the areas I need to avoid please? I've heard that Newbridge has had some issues in the past, like antisocial behavior and safety concerns, but there seems to be a lot of mixed information on the area! Thanks in advance!

I don’t know what You have heard but I’m from Newbridge & can attest that Newbridge in the main is perfectly safe-as safe as any other village/town/city in Ireland.

Spend a weekend in Newbridge. Walk around, check the social life. See what things are like in the area you plan to purchase and make your own mind up.

All places have their issues. Newbridge probably had more issues in the past when there were lots of teens and little for them to do especially in areas where social welfare was the norm and job opportunities were not aplenty.

That's historical and long gone and generally its considered a good place to live - though traffic is horrendous
