Music RTE used when it was opening up for the day

I heard Jean Michel Jarre's Equinoxe 4 the other day and it transported me back to my childhood. More specifically, to the eternity I spent watching that feckin' clock, which was the limbo between the test card and Bosco. God, time used to slow right down as I waited for RTE to boot up for the day. On the other hand, it was an early introduction to some classic instrumental music. I'm pretty sure I heard Equinoxe and some of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene in those years. Maybe a bit of Mike Oldfield as well but I'm not so sure about that. Does anyone else remember what music RTE used when it wasn't quite on air?

They used some long, atmospheric electronic tracks like that that could be repeated.

Kraftwerk was apparently used in the 80s Autobahn - track is something like 8 mins long.

I can remember this piece by Rondo Venizianio being used in the RTE clock countdown. This is best known for an accompanying animated video with a spaceship and faceless robot musicians but I've no memory of seeng that as a kid.

RTE in those days had very definite "Euro public service broadcasting" vibe - from what I've seen of a lot of other stations around Europe at the time there was a similar tone to it for things like holding music and opening sequences etc.
