My daughter has just moved into a house which is 50+ years old. The previous owners said the alarm has not worked for years, and have no idea what the code was for set/unset of alarm. After opening the box housing the main alarm panel, the battery fell out. I have since replaced the battery. After connecting the battery briefly, the alarm went off, so I duly disconnected again. Does anyone know how to reset back to defaults so I can set it up again with known set/unset codes?
