Getting rattle can paint made up from scan & underseal recommendations?

Can anyone recommend where (in Dublin or nearby) I would get a rattle can of my of paint made up, matched with a portable (so they can scan the panel I want to touch up) scanner? For my '83 car.

I've got this done before with the bonnet, and the results were pretty poor so I don't want to go to the same place.

Also, any recommendations for a good spray on underseal (or maybe brush on if that's the way to go). I've used MoTip Sprayable Stone Chip Aerosol before but it's very thin and fragile.

    Thanks!

Parts for cars in Walkinstown do have a good selection of paints and have a spec camera to match colours. The underseal in spray cans are crap because they are thin to enable spraying from a can. For proper stone chip you need a shultz gun and compressor. To get a proper finish from a rattle can you need the base colour and 2k lacquer. I have rattle canned panels before and got good results with using 2 stage painting. Be warned using 2k requires a proper mask and ppe.

@gipi Thanks for that I'll give them a call later today

@JP 1800 Thanks, that makes sense about the underseal being thin to come out of the can. Unfortunately I don't have a compressor. Why do you need more PPE for a 2K paint? I'll ask about what you suggest when ordering.

The hardener in 2K is isocyanate which can be very hazardous to you if you get it in your lungs. It can also cause skin irritations if it comes into contact with your skin. When I use 2k paints I wear a 3M 6000 series full face mask with the appropriate filters, and nitrile gloves.

Hi @JP 1800 thanks for the info, I'd not have known that and just used an old paper style mask left over from covid!

I rang Auto Paint, they can scan the car so I'll do that next week, thanks.
