Using an oven spur for a hob

I currently have a gas hob where only two out of four rings are working. I would like to replace it for an electrical hob, ceramic or induction. Preferably induction. It will sit above the oven which is also faulty. The oven is hardwired into the spur however new ovens come with a standard 3 pin plug.

Is there a way I can tell if the existing wiring for the oven will be suitable for the new hob? Hobs require more power so don't come with a plug, they've to be hardwired.
