Hi, I've been out of work a long time and have recently been accepted as an admin assistant on a wpep scheme. Any ideas on what these jobs are like and if it will help find work down the road??

No not been on it but worked with people on it. Depends on a lot of things…… You, your attitude, who you work for and your ability to grow, can they find a paying role for you or the ability of another industry to find a suitable role for you.

I have seen it three times. Two were great successes and one was a failure. One went on to a HSE office Job and the other went onto working full time in the Charity an Assistant Manager and progressed to Shop manager. The other individual was there because her solicitor thought it would look good for child custody, there were deep underlying problems. She was highly qualified and very bitter person. She annoyed everyone and management from Dublin suggested she find another placement for reasons that will not be discussed. Absolute C U Next Tuesday.
