    Hi All

I have a Marantz PM66SE which has served me well, but it has developed some issues, including losing channels at times. I have managed to get hold of a simple single input amp (Yamaha A-670) which is fine, albeit with one single input.

It is my intention to repair (or attempt to repair) the Marantz, but in the mean time this Yamaha is working fine, except for not being able to connect more than one device at a time -

Would the above switch, which seems cheap and cheerful, be a suitable get out of Jail card for now? Iv searched and there are many switchers available, some costing as much as a second hand amp - needless to say im trying to keep costs down, as its likely il have to buy some parts for the Marantz (audio caps and diodes in all probability) - If there is an issue with the above switch, or if someone has a better recommendation, id be very interested in hearing about it!

Also if anyone has any suggestions for where i could get the Marantz looked at id be greatful - Iv repaired computers before, and done some soldering, but this will be a first amp repair - im fairly certain its dry joints, and 2 caps, one of which is well bloated, but if im wrong, i would be ok to have it looked at elsewhere

    Thanks in advance
