    Anyone taken the plunge?

Thinking of trading in my S24 Ulta, anyone know how soon you have to send in your old phone as wanted to take advantage of their try 100 days promo where you can return it FOC if its unwanted....

Had a look at a friend's….not bad, nice, thin and feels good in the hand. Got the Fold form factor feeling out of my system with the Fold 3 a few years back, and while being initially impressed, I reverted back to 'normal' next release phase.

But, I was interested to see what the new ones were like, even if I wasn't thinking of switching. They are obviously better designed now than a few year back, but I was a little disappointed that the crease is still somewhat distracting - and the Samsung is supposedly a fine example nowadays in comparison to other models. How much that bothers a person is subjective of course - the real estate is the reward after all.

Re: trade in, you'll probably get the trade pack inside of a week or two so it's highly unlikely you'd have the option of roadtesting it for a prolonged period I'm afraid, as they usually look for the old device within 7 days of expected receipt of the pack - but they've never been Nazis over a day here or there. 3 months would be pushing it though 😄

No, had 3 generations of the Samsung Fold , finally gave up mainly because of the narrow front screen. Moved on to the OnePlus Open and I've landed now on the Magic V3. If Samsung had sorted out the outer screen earlier I would have stayed with them.

I ordered one for 1625 from Gomibo.ie, I used it for 2 days, amazing technology, amazing device, soured by terrible software.

OneUI is absolutely terrible, it is so cluttered, bloated, confusing and not intuitive. It is the only reason I returned the device.

Used it for a week, cover screen is still little small, battery wise it was close to S25 U, went back to S25U as it is a complete package for me.
