Engine warning lights

    2018 Toyota Proace Van 1.6 diesel

    Hi lads,

    Just bought this van. One owner from new (my dad knows the guy well). Van was very well minded and serviced properly.

    Was going on to the m50 yesterday and the orange spanner and little engine light came on. Tried turning it off using the "reset service light" trick but it keeps coming back on.

    I had to go to Wexford and the van drove really well, pulling hard in the gears and no noises or shuddering etc.

    Anyone any ideas what it could be?

    I know it will need to be put on to a diagnostic machine but thought I'd ask here first in case there's a common enough problem with this engine.

    Also any recommendations for a diagnostic garage/guy in South county Dublin?
