WiFi out to a modular building

    Hello

We have have a modular build out in our back yard, it's about 25ft away from the main house, and gets virtually zero WiFi coverage.

We want to start using this building as a home office etc, but with zero coverage, that won't be easy.

The modular building (steel 150mm insulation) and our home are on the same electrical circuit, so I'm wondering if EoP power line adapter would be the way to go, or would I be better considering a wireless bridge?

I 'm relatively ok with DIY if cables etc need to be rigged, I'm not too bad tech wise either.

Ideally I would want something very simple, plug and play basically, which I believe power line adapter should be, but I had experience with these recently on a mate's house - concrete building he had made right beside the house (same circuit) and the speed in the modular was, well crap to be honest.

I'm open to suggestions, and appreciate any help or advice.

I have a similar setup, but the external room is a timber framed cabin.

The cabin itself while its on the same supply it has it's own fusebox and I found the powerline adapter did not work.

Currently I use TP Link extender on each side and it works to an acceptable standard, I did try a mesh setup and that was no use unfortunately.

Best overall option if possible would be running a cable from your router to the modular building and putting an access point there, I may go down that route eventually..
