I thought about putting this on the 8radio thread, but then I realised that it wasn't really about 8Radio and it might be missed by some anoraks.

I was playing back on demand Steve Conway's show on 8Radio.com from last night (A to Z of Great Tracks). Between suites of songs, Steve marked that significant milestone in his radio career. He mentioned the deejay names he used to use on his first pirate in London: Greg Hunt, Greg Stevens and Peter Broadstone. Steve played snippets of broadcasts from his first pirate South East London, Radio Caroline and his last one Phantom FM. He also referred to the fact that he has worked with Simon Maher for 25 years - first with Phantom (pirate and licensed eras) and then with 8Radio.com.

It might be worth those interested in going onto 8Radio's On Demand option for his show last night. It will be available for 7 days and should also be repeated next Saturday at 10am.
