Hi everyone, I am looking to see if there is any social groups or night classes starting up for the winter to keep busy in the evenings as winter will be arriving soon. What could you recommend for keeping busy, I am checking night classes and if there is running groups on locally in this part of Westmeath from the Kinnegad to Killucan Area to Mullingar for weekday evenings.

WSP might be a good starting point:

You have a couple of GAA clubs nearby with walking tracks - Kinnegad walking track has lights and a gym too. Keep an eye on their Facebook pages. The Downs GAA also has a walking track with lights and do some indoor fitness sessions over the Winter but probably a bit early yet.

Maurice Looby used to organise running groups and is based out that way:

I'm sure you know about the Park Run in Mullingar on Sat mornings - lovely group and all welcome incl walkers.

Kinnegad has an Athletics Club - check them out on Facebook.

Also clubs in Mullingar and Athboy:

Notice boards in local shops also a good source of info but again a bit early for Winter I'd say.
