    Hi Folks

I was perscribed Methotrexate 2 months ago for arthritis, at first I was on the tablets once a week but immediatly ran into stomack and disgestion issues. The last 4wks I have been taking the weekly injection, I am getting relief for my arthritis but am still suffering badly with my digestion….

Feeling very bloated, not quite the runs but not far off, exhausted, stomack aches. Did anyone else suffer this on the injection form of the medication, did it lesson over time, would like to stay on the it as it's working well.

    Thanks

I’m on it for a good few years and occasionally get the sh*ts in the day I take it. Avoid alcohol for 36/48 hours before and after, I take it on Wednesday to reduce effects of a weekend on the piss. Likewise avoid spicy or greasy foods in the same timeframe and drink loads of water. I also don’t have a lot of dairy mid week for the same reasons but whether that’s something else I don’t know.
