PC Upgrade Help

My current pc specs are below.

CPU	AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU	Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5
Motherboard	MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI (AM4, mATX, Wi-Fi 5, PCIe 4.0)
RAM	32GB VENGEANCE® LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16
SSD (main)	Crucial P5 Plus 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 (up to 6600MB/s)
PSU	Corsair RM650x (650 W, fully modular, gold-rated)
CPU Cooler	be quiet! Dark Rock Slim
Case	Fractal Design Define Mini C (mATX, tempered glass, 2× GP-12 fans)
OS	Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
Monitor	Dell S2721DGF – 27", 1440p QHD, 165 Hz

I am looking to upgrade and considering upgrading below.

CPU to AMD Ryzensets 7 5700X3D.

GPU to RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

Is this a good upgrade?. Thinking is I will upgrade to AM5 or 6 in 3 years or so if I want to.

Any thoughts or advice please. Any bottleknecks in system..

I'd say it's a solid upgrade, and will give years of life to that machine yet. Make sure you update the BIOS before swapping the CPU though.

Do you think motherboard or RAM could be bottleneck at all. These are five years old.

Other concern is that PSU is too small but I will find out.

The RAM is a decent speed, there's very little room to upgrade that, and very little to be gained even if you did. The GPU can maybe spike to 350W during brief transient spikes, but that CPU should max at 105W, leaving some headroom and enough for the rest.

What CPU cooler do you have?

Thermalright makes dozens of good models nowadays that can be had for very cheap.

As it's a mATX case just be sure you've got enough space for the GPU.

Edit: For example, this ASUS TUF version won't fit your case. There are plenty of options (pcpartpicker lets you filter by length) but just double check before you pull the trigger.
