Engine malfunction after service

Did an oil and filter change along with serpentine belt and tensioner on the missus 2012 focus. All went well but getting engine malfunction on message when driving. Checked over everything and the turbo boost solenoid vacuum hoses were disconnected, could have happened when I was removing the air box to get access to oil filter, however, the message keeps coming up and these hoses keep getting blown off/disconnected?

    Any ideas?

What is the other hos that's disconnected on the right side of your first picture?

Can you connect it to anything?

That orange cylinder shaped thing is the vacuum solenoid for turbo wastegate. Hose you're pointing out is vacuum in. And hose to the left disconnected is the vacuum out going onto the turbo wastegate

Solenoid schematic. Some applications vent to atmosphere via a small cylinder filter on the solenoid body rather than the nipple pipe above

There is no need to remove the air box or go near those pipes to change the oil filter on those?

Is there vacuum on the vacuum in hose? It should be there all the time when the car is running and with all hoses connected the turbo actuator arm should pull down tight when the engine is started

I know there's access with leaving airbox in place but I prefer to lift it out, takes all of 10 seconds and opens up the area a lot more for my fat fingers.

Didn't go near the vacuum hoses but maybe snagged them when removing the airbox I reckon

Tis grand I've it sorted thanks lads, the hose going onto the wastegate needed to be pushed in deep, there's a lip halfway on the pipe that retains the hose once its pushed over it, had to put on a pair of dry gloves and push it all the way back that pipe.

Took it for a drive and a few good revs and all is well.
