Searching for satellites

I have a Golf Buddy Platinum white. It has been working fine until recently it cannot find satellites. Software is up to date in it. Golf Buddy cannot help as they say item is no longer manufactured. Any ideas

cocontact fade agencies in Dublin.
they were the agents for golfbuddy in Ireland and still run a repair service.
may not worth fixing at this stage as a new watch will.prob be cheaper
