    I love complexity in simplicity.

I’ve had electric gates in for nigh on 13 years . Can’t recommend them highly enough. Especially in the countryside .( cattle break ins, also acts as a good deterrent ) however getting someone to fix problems is a nightmare . No one really wants to come out and fix problems so I’ve learned a lot myself . Next I need to rewire the low voltage signal cables , as the original installer used alarm cabling for signalling and it hasn’t lasted the test of time withIrish weather .

if your getting installers try to learn as much as possible on the install if your that way minded .

Forget about " Cheap" . A lot of suppliers wont sell product to unregistered installers . You should be a registered electrician as these gates can be very dangerous if installed incorrectly .
