Options for short term letting of my property while working abroad - Managed AirBnB the solution?

    I am planning on working abroad for 4-5 months at a time as I'm building a business abroad, but returning home to stay for 3 months, then heading back out.

    I'd like to get some income from my 2 storey house while away, but obviously don't want to make the property a full time rental as I need to be able to go back and use the house when I'm back in Ireland.

    I'll lock away anything I want to keep safe in a room upstairs in the house and in the attic, and yes I don't mind that lots of people will be using the place!

    I want the flexibility to be able to decide I want to head back to use the property at short notice, so is a managed AirBnB setup the best option for me? Not sure my siblings will have the time to manage it and in particular to keep it cleaned, although I might chat with them.

    Does it need to be registered with the RTB etc?

    Are there any recommended companies to manage AirBnBs in Dublin?
