I have a brother with very mild asthma (he says it himself) and started using the syrup form of Ventolin two months ago. He lost weight and says that it's made going to the gym way easier. From reading a few articles on salbutamol, it seem to be widely abused by athletes but only in the oral form as the inhale contains too low of a dose.
