Changeover switch

I recently had a changeover switch installed by a pro, it's all setup and ready to go.

The problem is I ordered a generator with the wrong output socket, a 16a instead of a 32a, the generator also has a 32a 110v output socket but that's of no use here

Would it be safe to proceed to use this setup by utilizing a 32a to 16a fly lead like the one in the picture?

I am aware of the seriousness of making sure to never overload the setup by using it to power a shower, kettle etc.

All I really want it for is in the event of another blackout, just to power a few lights, tv, router, fridge freezer and chest freezer.

Max power output of the generator is 6.8kva and 5.4kw
