In my spare bedroom I have noticed loads of these small crawling insects all over the bed, they are able to fly around but mostly just crawl along, I don’t think they are bedbugs but before I set fire to the bedroom can someone identify them? I have guests coming in the next week

It's difficult to make out, but are they moths of some sort? I'm pretty sure they're not bed bugs in any case.

I’ve identified them as thrips. 100% sure.

Anyone know how to get rid of them?

From Wiki Thrips are normally very small, < 2mm long. And nothing to indicate they would be found inside. In that case a vacuum might be the simplest solution and try and see what is carry them inside. Pets, workwear?
