Blaser shooting sticks

Has anyone had experience with the 2nd Gen blaser shooting sticks?

Myself and a mate bought a set each in April last (2024). My mate has sent his back twice with snapped legs and the swivel/ handle on mine has just fell off. I took the rifle off the shoulder put it on the sticks and started to track a fox, then I just felt the rifle dropping forward. I thought I had somehow missed the V, couldn't figure out what was going on, till i turned on the torch and saw the 2 front legs flapping about while I still had the handle in my hand.

I will get back on to the shop, but just get the feeling these aren't well made. Maybe they were at some stage but wondering if they started to skimp out on them with the Gen 2's or something.

Just to add, they are light weight and very nice to shoot off of, but with other quad sticks I've see lads drag deer with them, I wouldn't drag a fox with these.
