RTÉ1, RTÉ1 +1, RTÉ2 and RTÉ2 +1 all frozen on Sky

    All video stuck for the last two or 3 minutes - not the broken digital signal lost consumer-side type.

    TG4 & Virgin all fine.

    I'm just posting for tech behind-the-scenes info on what would've caused this.

    They probably haven't paid their fee to be carried on the Sky platform, and Sky pulled the plug on their sorry asses.

    if really stuck to watch rte1 or 2 next workaround is select RTE player on the laptop and chromecast it to the TV - personally i am watching a repeat of richard osmans house of games on challenge

    ”We are aware of Sky Q/Glass/Stream customers experiencing issues with RTÉ channels freezing. Support teams are engaged and working to get this resolved.

    In the meantime, you can access RTÉ content, both live and on-demand via the RTÉ Player on your set top box/Glass TV.”

    Yes I noticed this too and was like WTF. Thought my Sky Q box book lol.

    Anyway all seem good now.
