I seemed to have posted this in the recreation & fitness but probably should have put it here..

I'm a (late) newcomer to weights. I just want to lift some weights which I'm constantly hearing is even more important as we get older. I've been going to a local gym 3 times a week for 3 months but it's expensive (€130 per month for 12 group/PT sessions). I do enjoy it but man the cost is something else. Now that I've learned you can do a lot with some dumbbells and a bench I am thinking of buying one.

I know nothing about brands etc but I know that the cheap ones from Amazon are probably a bad choice.

I am really tight on space so I am trying to keep it small but practical.

I saw these two, are they good/worth it in terms of build quality. I don't mind paying that bit extra for something that will last.
